Hello! We are alive and well! Or I should say, alive and surviving haha. It’s been a long and tough few days and then you add on top of it the extra duties of taking care of a baby, plus technical difficulties with our phones and tablet, etc.. and the posts tend to get left behind. Unfortunately my Dad doesn’t know how to work the blog so he can write things up but then I have to post everything, attach photos, etc… which can’t happen if my son is fussing and I need to hold him, or if I am already up really late with other things and need to go to sleep. Essentially what I’m trying to say is we have a million excuses that these posts haven’t been getting done and I’m sorry about that! We do love doing these and keeping everyone updated. It benefits us, too, because we enjoy looking back on these posts and reliving our trips!
I have a post from my Dad almost ready to go, and a post from myself as well. I hope over the next couple days to get those up + more to bring everyone up to speed with our trip. As a quick update: we are less than 100km from Santiago which is INCREDIBLE considering we started with 800km to complete a few years ago. My son has been sick so we saw a doctor (which is yet another reason things have been delayed) and he is doing alright now. He seems to be on the mend. Thankfully it wasn’t nothing serious, and so we’ve just been cuddling lots and keeping him comfortable in the midst of everything else. Please pray for his recovery! And lastly, we are just so tired. This trip has been a lot more exhausting and difficult since we now have a baby to take care of and not just ourselves. We often don’t get time to relax and rest at the end of the day which has made completing many tasks difficult, not just the posts. If I’m being honest, I’m really looking forward to the Camino being done so I can sleep in and rest rest rest.
We so appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Maybe you guys haven’t even noticed we haven’t been posting, or maybe you have. Whatever the case may be, we are glad you are here and we are praying for you.
I will likely (ideally) post a couple a day moving forward, and we may have some posts that cover a couple days at once. So I apologize in advance if you get multiple emails in a short span of time. Do not feel obligated to read them all if you don’t want to!
Thank you thank you thank you. Please pray for us to get rest, have strength for the coming days, for my son to heal quickly, and for a fruitful final stretch of the Camino.
God Bless,
Hannah + Tony + Baby

Praying for you all. I am five days into my pilgrimage on the Via di Francesco.
I am so glad that the end is in sight well kind of.
Simply share what you can when you can Hannah. Don’t stress about the quality of the posts. We would prefer you rest, look after baby, and enjoy the pilgrimage.
I’m so excited for you and Tony. Only one kilometres to go!!! You’re so close after starting so long ago in St Jean Pied de Port. May you all keep healthy in these final days.
You’re in my prayers.

Buen Camino!!!
That’s meant to read one HUNDRED kilometres!!!
